(de) Ein Papiertisch ersetzt originalgetreu einen der Tische im Café des Kunsthauses Dahlem. Der Originaltisch des Cafés wandert in den Ausstellungsraum des Museums. Als Kunstobjekt wird der Papiertisch dem alltäglichen Gebrauch des Cafébetriebs ausge-setzt, was aufgrund der Materialwahl zur Folge hat, dass er sich im Laufe der Zeit in seiner Beschaffenheit verändert. Spuren des Gebrauchs schreiben sich in ihn ein. Das Café wird zum Atelier, die Besucher*innen zu Mitwirkenden an dem Werk. Die Arbeit stellt die Funktionalität und den Gebrauch eines Objekts in Bezug auf seinen Kontext in Frage: das Kunstobjekt wird zum Gebrauchsgegenstand, der Gebrauchsgegenstand, der Originaltisch, wird in den Ausstel-lungsraum versetzt, wo er zum Kunstobjekt wird.

(en) A paper table faithfully replaces one of the tables in the café of the Kunsthaus Dahlem. The original café table is moved to the museum's exhibition space. As an art object, the paper table is exposed to everyday use in the café, which, due to the choice of material, means that its condition changes over time. Traces of use are inscribed into it. The café becomes a studio, and visitors become contributors to the work. The work questions the functionality and use of an object in relation to its context: the art object becomes a utility object, and the utility object, the original table, is moved to the exhibition space, where it becomes an art object.
